Celebrating 100 Years Of Service To Our Communities
Lions Clubs have a lot to offer their members. You’ll have the opportunity to use your hobbies and skills to make a real difference in your community. Lions also offer leadership and public speaking training to their members, skills that you can use in your personal and professional life. Many clubs also have programs that can include the whole family, so it’s a great way to teach the kids about giving back and paying it forward!
Our State projects are doing a ton of good to serve Michigan communities.
Leader Dog School for the Blind
This complex is home to students, dogs, all service departments and the support staff that enable Leader Dog to enhance the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals from all over the world. Their goal is to be recognized as a full service resource center for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Their vision is to become the most innovative and forward-thinking organization in the profession.
Eversight Michigan is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of sight through transplantation, research, education and partnership. Eversight recovers, evaluates and provides human eye tissue for transplantation; supports research into the causes and cures of blinding eye conditions; promotes donation awareness through public and professional education; and provides humanitarian aid to people around the world in need of sight-restoring services.
Lions of Michigan Foundation
The Lions of Michigan Foundation works together with our Michigan Lions Clubs and other charities to deliver services aimed at helping people with sight and hearing deficiencies maintain their independence.
Lions Bear Lake Camp
Lions Bear Lake Camp is a premiere outdoor recreational/educational facility providing opportunities for people of special needs to enhance self-worth, attain independence, acquire social skills and realize their full potential as human beings.
