Join us for the MD11 Convention, happening from May 16-18, 2024, at the Sheraton by Marriott in Grand Rapids, MI. We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, Past International President Sid L. Scruggs III, a retired military and commercial airline pilot and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. PIP Scruggs, elected president of The International Association of Lions Clubs in 2010, will be part of all convention events, starting with the Thursday picnic in Rockford and concluding with the awards banquet on Saturday. Don't miss the MD11 Convention Kickoff Picnic on May 16th, hosted by the Rockford Lions at Rotary Jaycee Park. Enjoy fellowship, delicious food, and the spirit of Lions service. The Lions Prom Night Celebration on Friday evening promises a night of glamour and fundraising, where clubs can compete for the title of Lions Prom King or Queen. Dress to impress, participate in friendly fundraising competition, and join us for an unforgettable convention experience!
Everyone MUST pay the registration fee. No meal tickets may be purchased unless registration fee is paid. Deadline for pre-registration and purchase of tickets is May 1, 2024. No refunds after May 1, 2024. Tickets and registration packets will be distributed at the Lions Registration Desk at the Sheraton by Marriott, Grand Rapids. They will not be mailed to you. The registration desk will be open Thursday at 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday Banquet tickets may be picked up Saturday evening at the Ballroom entrance.
